Pours a cloudy honey golden with a short off white head. Malty nose. Thick, raw mouthfeel. Drinks like a hoppy barleywine. Brewed tea quality in the flavor as well.

Malty honey sweet aroma with dark fruit and some booze. Beautiful dark red color with a sticky ivory colored head. Tastes honey like as well, with slightly bitter hops soon to follow. A little bitterness in the aftertaste. Good smooth palate with a good amount of carbonation. This is really good. Why cant imperial red ale or red ale in general be its own category? American Strong Ale is way too broad.

Pours a rich red amber color with a long lasting beige head. Nose is sweet caramel, toffee and malt. Taste is sweet and fruity, with a nice confluence of heavy malt and lighter hops. Finishes very sweetly on the same tasting notes, dryly with mild lacing and a short finish . Nice ASA. Quaff Score 8 / 10

Draft at The Brass Tap - U Square, served in a flight. Pours a mostly clear orange-amber with a moderate off-white head that laces the glass while settling into a ring and an island of film. Citrus and tropical fruits, with caramel, faint rye, wheat, juicyfruit gum, and resin. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, resinous, malty mouthfeel. I thought Id had this one before, but its been a long time since Ive visited a Two Brothers offering.

Rated on 12-14-2015 (Bottle) The appearance of this beer is a medium sized ivory head with a lengthy retention, transparent copper body, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma citrus, sweet, earthy, caramel malt, and toasted. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus, sweet, spicy, caramel malt, syrupy, and light pine. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium-full bodied. Overall, a very quaffable beer that has a spicy and hop aftertaste. This is a good sipping beer that has an alcohol in the finish. It is a beer that is worth trying and a beer that I would partake in again.
