Buddy, pal, mate, brother (or sister) from another mother, compadre . . . sidekick. All of these are ways to describe someone or something that is always at your side. Sidekick extra pale ale is one of those things. This golden colored ale is loaded with juicy citrus and passion fruit hop aroma yet balanced with malt and hop character. A true companion.

This stuff is good. Two Brothers didnt let the light color and relatively low gravity stop them from giving this a huge hop aroma. I might guess citra is involved somewhow but whatever hops they used to finish lent a good bit of peach character along w/ the usual citrus and pine. This is a lighter beer very much on the drinkable side. My two complaints are that it doesnt really have enough bitterness in the finish and is a bit undercarbonated for the style which makes it come off as water. If this were either a little more bitter or a little more spritzy, I think itd be great.

Thin spongy head, lots of carbonation on the glass, beautiful rich golden color. Subtle what and tropical aroma. Dry, slightly bitter taste, thin body, finish is short and flavor drops off quickly. Very drinkable and probably a good choice if you like your beers on the lighter side.

I can smell the passion fruit in the aroma along with mango, starfruit, sweet malt and only the slightest amount of hops. Very pleasant. Appearance is very pale, a light yellowish color, completely translucent with a cream colored head. Tastes bitter yet light with a strange banana like aftertaste. Refreshing but the taste is a little bit off. Light and watery palate with not enough carbonation to balance it out. Two Brothers is a brewery that I am trying more of, but this one was a miss for me.

Huge citrus pine aroma in a golden pour. Lovely balance between a hops and malt with a crisp lean finish. An excellent example of the style (US Pale Ale).

Can. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is fruity hop and faint pine. Medium mouth, juicy hop, light bitterness, crushable, very good.
