On tap at O’carroll’s. Pours dark brown with tan head that fades slowly. Good lacing. Aroma of acidic dust. Initial taste reminds me of catacombs. Medium flavour, taste is of slightly acidic full flavoured roasted malt with a decent amount of bitterness. It’s sweet and musty with alcohol. Draft at Brew Craft. Extremely dark clear maroon brown color, thick brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of coffee grounds, port wine, decent hops. Taste is cocoa, coffee, burnt espresso. Delicious.
