COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2007 12 oz,. bottle. Hazy old gold with a nice thick head. A well balanced IPA to be sure. No as much hop as I was expecting but right on the mark. This is a top IPA and now one of my favorites.

If you love IPA’s then dig in!!!! Enough hops to tame the beast inside you. Lovely slightly cloudly amberish color. Hops lingers even 30 mins after consumed. I’m not even a huge IPA fan, and I could appretiate this robust brew.

Tap. cloudy orange color with a thick off white head. Sweet floral aroma. Slight citrus kick. A little swseet with a hoppy bitter finish. Not as bitter as I expected it to be. This beer is well rounded and has more going on than just that hoppy bite one might expect from an IPA. B

Hops from beginning to end. Bright golden color with significant white head and lots of hops in the nose. Malt sweetness and hops come together at the taste for a very flavorful combination. An enjoyable IPA even for a non-hop head.

shintriad (701) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 29, 2007
Slightly medicinal with fruity notes, reminds me of Flintstones vitamins. A lot of spice and mint, watermelon rind, a bit of sweetness and residual sugar in the resiny, oily palate. Overall, quite good and uniquely earthy.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2008 One of my favorite IPAs and a staple in my beer fridge. Well balanced IPA with a good amount of bitterness and very hoppy. Had this at the brewery but I really want them to ship it to Illinois again.

12 ounce bottle. Gold color with a nice white head. Taste has some citrus and some pine to it. Finish is a little bitter. A well balanced IPA that is enjoyable start to finish.

A little super pungent at first, but then I start to really, really like it as I go down the bottle. Tastes like nature, the nature the bottle alludes to. I do want to know more about this "two hearted" concept... related to fishing?
