4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
I’d be lying if I said the Hemingway tie in didn’t put me in this beer’s corner before even tasting it - but it helps that it’s an amazing beer too. On tap @ Minnosa, MSP. Pours cloudy golden with an orange tint and medium thin slightly oily head. Aroma is big hops: citrus dominates, with pine and earthy notes following. Taste is punchy hop-forward and crisp. The hops really jump out much more on tap as I tried a bottle just yesterday. Hops are super fresh: citrusy, floral, and earthy. Malts are smart enough to stay out of the way and let the hops shine here. Exactly what an IPA should be.
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2017 Hop aroma on the nose. Delicious hop flavor with good malt structure. Well hidden 7.0% abv. Great full flavored balanced IPA. eallenbrown (34) - - NOV 11, 2017
Incredible balance, if just a bit short on complexity. Lusciously sweet and hoop at once, with citrus and tropical notes strongest. A real go to, though I don’t find it as much of a standout as most do.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2017 Drinking it at the moment...a really good IPA. Will recommend to anyone that likes IPA. I live in California so it’s not available here in the states. Had to order this online. gregwilsonstl (2640) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 4, 2017

Clear, golden pour with a creamy, white head. The aroma has floral and spicy hops with a malty backbone. It has a medium body with oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a crisp but lingering finish. Ahuth (665) - Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2017
Draft. Pours Amber. The palate full body. The taste is big grassy earthy hops. Excellent ipa. My go to Larry_Duffman (598) - - OCT 16, 2017
I had it from the can. There is a nice, hoppy aroma. The taste is bitter hops, orange, vanilla, and cream. This was really nicely balanced with a lot of flavor. This is really good. blynde77 (19) - - OCT 14, 2017
A really good hoppy beer. Not overpowering with hops. More dry and bitter, though clean, than floral. The biggest downfall is the average aroma -- very surprising for its taste.
