COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Pours a slightly cloudy, bright, golden orange color with a finger length white head that dissipates fairly quickly and leaves a thick blanket of lacing. Smells of dank hops. Get grapefruit, tangerine, spicy pine, lots of floral, maybe some lemon. Get a faint hint of breadiness and carmel from the malt, but is definitely overpowered by the hop qualities. Taste starts with an abrasive bitterness along with some grapefruit, tangerine, and floral. Then get a little more malt than the smell suggests. Slight sweetness as well as some bready qualities to somewhat balance the hops. Then the finish returns the abrasive bitterness along with spicy pine, grapefruit, a little orange, floral. Get almost a bubblegum finish when it warms due to the malts starting to show though. The carbonation level is high, which somewhat neutralizes the resinous hop qualities and makes for a much more smooth and refreshing IPA. Medium body with a creamy and clean mouthfeel. This is a classic "hopheadís" IPA.

Clear, golden color. Nice, white head. Pine , malt , tropical fruits in aroma. Distinctive, malty backbone with just enough of hoppy bitterness. Supertasty IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden with decent head and the aroma of floral hops. Taste is not as bitter as most IPAs making it very easy drinking. Could chug this one easily. Very refreshing and is going well with the yard work I am doing today.

A real classic IPA in style - taste of american hops, lots of grapefruit, citrus and resin, and a light caramel and biscuit malt backbone. Honey golden in color. Still solid even after all the crazy changes and advances in IPA styles.

One of the best, still a wonderful IPA amid the sea of fruit salad interpretations dominating the style these days. Huge herbal citric nose, and the pour--good lord, itís gorgeous, a glorious gold-orange with a frothy head giving up massive lace. Taste starts with a caramel-citrus malt heft, then gains a thick, chewy center before the hops pump up the finish with a healthy bitterness. Lovely, lovely beer.

12-ounce can poured briskly into glass, Half-inch head with minimal lacing. Aroma: pine needles, citrus. Flavor: pineapple, peach, orange, grapefruit, pine. Refreshing hopiness; nicely balanced bittersweet. For 7 percent alcohol, very drinkable -- dangerously so.
