Two Henrys Belleview Biltmore Blueberry Vanilla Wheat

RATINGS: 19   MEAN: 3.2/5.0   WEIGHTED AVG: 3.15/5   EST. CALORIES: 159   ABV: 5.3%
Pronounced vanilla and blueberry nose. Very aromatic. Light wheat in color. Blueberry and blueberry sweetness on the taste, clean body, and lingering blueberry and lingering vanilla finish. Reminiscent of a blueberry muffin, but in a beer.

Can at home watching Pats Titans playoff. Peachy colored small head still body. Nose is nice blueberry desert. Tastes astringent of fake blueberry, wheat, light peach, vanilla. Plastic aftertaste. Thin body.

Very nice!! Pours hazy reddish orange. No head really (wheat beer) great aroma of blueberry muffins. just sweet enough, very well balanced- I wish i would have gotten a whole sixer of this stuff- really nice. A fruit wheat ale that doesnt try to do too much. Subtle flavors, heavy aromatics, smooth ride into clean crisp finish

12 oz can. Cloudy gold color with a small white head and poor retention. No lacing. Crisp mouthfeel; Almost a little acidic. Light blueberry flavor with a soft edge from the vanilla. Vanilla becomes more prominant as it warms.

on tap at the Epcott International Food and Wine Festival; cloudy, amber color; blueberry aroma; lots of blueberry in the flavor with light wheat malt and hints of vanilla

PanMarek (465) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 12, 2016
Sampled at Epcot Food & Wine Festival 2016 as Blueberry Vanilla American Wheat Ale. Lives up to the description. Strong blueberry in the nose with a little vanilla and malt. Amber pour with quick beige foam. The taste is sour blueberry with the vanilla coming later. Medium light mouthfeel and slightly slick. Moderately crisp finish. Not quite a dessert beer, but hard to imagine drinking it with most food.

BelgianBeerGal (4286) - Panama City, Florida, USA - OCT 5, 2016
Draft at EPCOT Food and Wine festival. Really a flavorful wheat/fruit beer. Lots of fresh blueberry flavor and good wheat base. Enjoyable and not just a wheat beer with fake flavoring added.

2015 BJCP Category: 29B Fruit & Spice Beer (base style: 18A Blonde Ale)

AROMA: Akin to sweetened yogurt - blueberry puree and vanilla flavoring are prominent. Some wheat/bread notes. Faint trace of lacto. 8/12

APPEARANCE: Rusty orange/light brown; extremely hazy. Small off-white head dissipates quickly. 1/3

FLAVOR: Generic wheat base brew is evident. Fairly bready palette throughout. Blueberry is noticeable at first, but fades quickly. Some minor vanilla sweetness in the background (also fades quickly). Prominent tangy/sourness imparts a sharp astringency which grows in strength. Seems to be infected. 10/20

MOUTHFEEL: Light-medium body; fairly low carbonation. Refreshing at first, but leaves an astringent aftertaste. Feels dull. 2/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Nowhere near as good as it is on tap. Probably unpasteurized and/or an old can. Drinkable, but not very enjoyable. 4/10

Rating #6900! Tallahassee, Fl - Beer Stop - 12 oz can. Dull, medium golden pour, no head to speak of. Aroma has some muted blueberry sourness, faint vanilla if you try hard. Flavor has some blueberry sourness, a bit of vanilla sweetness, kind of artificial, trialing bubble gum candiness, Mouthfeel has a decent spritz to it. Not sure where this one was heading, missed the mark.
