COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Renowned for their Belgian farmhouse ales, good friends Phil Markowski and Belgian brewer Yvan de Baets teamed up to make this Double Grisette. This beer has the malted wheat base generous hopping of this bygone Belgian style but adds a twist: two different yeast strains were used, a wild yeast from Connecticut and a traditional Saison yeast from Belgium. The result is a dry, fruity, and aromatic farmhouse ale with a genuine Belgo-American Pedigree.

Thnx to Tim, Wim, and Eugene for the shared ! Pours. Unclear blonde, medium sized, yet very stable white head. Smell is clear, mild spices and funk. Taste is full, bit bitter. Refreshing, moderate bitterness. Clean, balanced and malty (crisp bread and very mild toast ) crunchy. Nice !

500 ml bottle purchased at One Stop Market, Haverhill, MA. Slightly hazy, murky straw color, lasting head retention. Nose is ample Belgian yeast with a large amount of wheat. Yeast is the main players here with some spicy black peppery hints in the finish. Body is medium with a dry spicy texture. A good collaboration beer.
