The Two Roads interpretation of this emerging beer style naturally takes a road less traveled. Unlike other versions, ours employs an American ale yeast and no spices. The result is a soft wheat backdrop that accentuates the Pacific Northwest hop character.

Pours straw with a decent head. Nose is wheat, citrus. Taste is citrus with some malt and grain. Short finish. Drinkable, but better examples of the style can be picked up at any supermarket.

On tap at Battleship. Pours a murky light golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is of hops, lemon, orange peel, and more citrus. Citrus and bubbly palate. Flavor is of hops, orange, lemon, and malts. Leaves a citrus & hops finish.

Little aroma, has a slight peach essence that enhances a nice clean and fresh finish. For a wheat IPA, it actually cares to the end nicely ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml can. Pours a hazy golden yellow, thin white head. Aroma of pale malts, wheat grains and a light sweetness. Taste is quite smooth with a soothing sweetness and pine, a bit like the outer casing of honey-flavoured Locket lozenge (cough sweets). Wheat plays its role admirably with the mouthfeel. Not too into the sweetness, soft as it is, but it’s not a bad beer.

Can. Golden pour. A light, tropical wheaty east drinking IPA. Nicely balanced and not thin but still refreshing. Bought this as part of a lineup for an outdoor graduation party on a hot summer day. Got the job done.

Light golden color, hazy, white head. Aroma wheat and citrus. Taste quite fruity, light bitter for IPA. Light body, thin feel. Nothing special.

jamesie1857 (2186) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2017
355ml bottle from Mitchell’s Meadowhead - Hazy yellow body, decent white head. Nose is big on the citrus, sweet and sugary cereals. Taste is syrupy with a bite of sharp citrussy hops making it nice and clean.

Towey1989 (2945) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2017
Can at Beerdock Leek. Pours a hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of orange, some grapefruit, a little melon, maybe peach, slight wheat and subtle herbal hops. Taste of grapefruit, some orange, a little melon, a hint of pine, slight wheat and subtle herbal hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, slightly wheaty, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. An easy drinking IPA with a pleasant citrus and herbal hop bitterness throughout. Solid.

Ron (4001) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAY 29, 2017
On Buttonwood golf course with Joe. Aroma and taste is a mix of tropical and citrus fruits, hoppy and malty, some wheaty notes, some, grapefruit and pine needles. Light herbal and grassy hoppy bitter finish
