COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Two Roads interpretation of this emerging beer style naturally takes a road less traveled. Unlike other versions, ours employs an American ale yeast and no spices. The result is a soft wheat backdrop that accentuates the Pacific Northwest hop character.

A good solid IPA. Could have used more flavor. Slightly above average finish that is bitter but short.

Keg @ Hogshead Brewhouse, Sowerby Bridge. Dark amber and slightly hazed. Fairly crisp despite a light dryness with a floralness in both aroma and taste. Hardly any wheat character found on this occasion.

bottle from son-in-law Shane - Thanks!! --- btld 11/2/16 ---Aroma of malt with a light hop background. Hazy straw color, with a lot of tiny sediment particles, off-white head that settles to a full cover, dots and spots of lace. Taste is light malt, medium fizz, tropical fruit that turns progressively more bitter as it flows through a long finish. Light, but still solid.

Citrus and lemon scents. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a bright white head. Light lacing. Super grapefruit flavor with a short astringent finish. Medium carbonation. Very understated and refreshing. Novel and I like it.

Punchy, sweet, with a dose of citrus. Long finish of mildly bitter hops. A little earthy. Not bad, but lacking a bit of crispness.

Pours cloudy yellow with a fluffy head. Aroma is bread, honey, porridge. A very sweet beer, tastes like porridge with lots of honey in it, missing the bitterness of an IPA for me. Made with wheat and more like a weiss than an IPA but still not that. Confused on what it wants to be.

Halloween 2016 - Can share at Matteos. Thanks David! As Two Roads Honeyspot Road IPA. Hazy pale golden, foamy white head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is green apple, varnish, with some background pineapple and grapefruit. Body is very light, tingly to soft carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is apple and green banana, light honey, touch metallic. Just OK. (3.0)

Tap at brewery. Pours hazy gold. Aroma is grapefruit, pineapple, guava, pale malt, tangerine, and light toast. Flavor is rather crisp and refreshing for an IPA with the juicy, citrus hop bitterness certainly there but nicely matched with the pH and carbonation level of the beer. Medium body.
