Traditional in concept with a Two Roads twist…dry hops. We use a combination of classic German as well as American hop and malt varieties in our Pils. We renovated a 100 year-old factory building and designed this Pils to have “extra” aroma…so, pardon the pun! Crisp…refreshing…refined.

12oz can packaged somewhere in Feb-Mrch 2016. Pours a clear pale golden with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is a little fruity and resinous, dryhopped indeed! Some light peppery aspects, too. Taste is dry and gently bitter, offers some lightly crackery cereals. Lightly fruity with more resinous hops. Body is medium, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel is quite oily. A fine americanized pilsner. I might pick it up again if I see it again in a fresher state.

Pours a clear light gold with a pillowy head which lingers.....aroma is the smell of an old day tap room, unmistakeable pilsen grain, yeasty notes......taste is thin though mouthfeel is full, quick hit of grain, very, very slight hop note and both disappear quickly and leaving a lingering bitterness. OK pils, not amazing.

Can. Tall Boys, Leeds. Yellow gold. Soft haze. Thin, bubbly, lasting, white head. Streams of fine bubbles. Nose has rubbery, sweet malts. Some grassy hop. Not a great deal else. Taste is sweet and malty. Light, floral hop bitterness. Soapy mouthfeel. Sweet finish, with a grassy, floral bitter edge. Not great.

Sampled from a can. Clear, light gold with a white head. Fairly standard lager, with a decent delicate flavour with hints of citrus. Not sweet, which is a bonus, and a nice dry finish. Light in body and taste. Not very memorable and nothing like as good as well-made German Pilsner.

Smells of sweet malts floral scents and a touch to the nostils of lemon zest. Slight haze yellow color with finger and a half white head that tends to last. Some floral flavors like grass and wood with some citrus on the back note that tend to linger on the tougue. Light body with zesty crisp carbonation. Nice refreshing pilsner. Nice work.

Wow...something good finally has come out of Connecticut. Murky yellow with a dense and growing white head. Aroma is whispy, id hoped for more. A solid pilsener. Stands alone or pairs well with lunch. Will have to look this place up if I ever dare to cross the border into wierdoland.

DATE: June 16, 2016... GLASSWARE: Hennepin pokal... OCCASSION: Cavs/Warriors Game 6 starts with a bang--can they keep it up?... strong three-finger snow-white head craters well and simmers slowly... body is golden yellow with large bubbles clinging to and jetting up the glass... rather clear too... tracing is sporadic, like barnacles...the hops are front and center, lemony, zesty, andf slightly floral...some ping exists, but the dry hopping settles it to a relaxed, welcoming garden... dough is definite, with a slight dampness suggesting the "ol’ factory" pun... one word--crisp... second word--smooth.... this has a medium-bodied mouthfeel, with a forceful end... the finish doesn’t hold long, but what is left is welcoming... the flavor is lemon zest, lemon grass, a bit of mango and other citric hops.... the dough is soft, and slight malts do the trick to balance this in a most agreeable way... matching the Cavs’ first half, this beer drinks well and true, with enough nuance to distinguish itself from other pilseners... a sessionable, refreshing, tasty offering that makes the second beer sampled from the Two Roads Beer Bus another winner...

On tap at the Hilton Boston Downtown. Gold with a filmy thin head. A little cling. Aromas of citrus, cut grass and biscuit. Flavors of cut grass, citrus, vinous champagne-like flavors, bready tones and a slight herbal presence. Lingering earthy hop note. Clean mouthfeel. Not bad.
