A big, hoppy IPA with plenty of bite! Our assertive, hop-centric Double IPA has a lean malt backdrop and is brewed with four American hop varieties – Summit, Palisade, Cascade and Magnum. Piney, citrus, floral, not-for-the-timid!

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2017 can at home. This has a biscuity malt to it. This is not very hoppy as the can suggests. it does hide it alcohol content very well. This feels like I'm drinking a English bitter than a imperial IPA

Can. Orange biscuit malt and earthy/dank pine and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy amber with moderate head. Moderately sweet orange, biscuit malt, and moderately strong bitter dank pine and grapefruit peel flavor. Good body and balance. Nice.

Pours an opaque caramel. Malty body with pine on the back end . Not as bitter as the can suggests John L - Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Vino. This is a big full on IPA. Right from opening the can you can tell it's a big hoppy monster. A huge waft of hops from popping it. Deep citrus, greasy pine, big malt. Pours auburn, full head. Mouth filling, big pine hit and lasting bitterness, loads of citrus. Dryness, layers of hops, some malt. Jesus this is good.

Bottle from Total Wine in Fredericksburg. Pours clear medium gold with a dusting of a head. Aroma is citrus peel, green pepper, minor floral and pine notes. Flavor is big. Immediate strong citrus, bubblegum, pine, tropical fruit, all right in your face. And wow, it’s a nice combination. Nice, long lingering citrus without being overly bitter. Good work.

Rating #2535 - 2016.05.05 - Sample at BrewExpo at CBC in Philly. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white foam, spotty lacing. Nose is grapefruit, pine needles, and wild flowers. Mouthfeel crisp, mild alcohol warmth, low-medium carbonation. Taste is sweet orangey/tangerine notes with the spicy tang and an assertive bitterness. On tap at Hops & Pie. Clear golden appearance with a white head. Aroma of pine, zesty hops, flowers, toasted grain, citrus fruit and a light herbal spice. Similar flavor, adding mild hop bitterness and light malt sweetness. Soft carbonation with a smooth finish. Solid.

Poured from the4-pack of tall boy cans acquired in Boston, drank 3 there last one at home. Probably the best beer I had on vacation. Strong, gritty, citrus, enjoyable, about 2.50 a can, checks all the boxes.
