COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A big, hoppy IPA with plenty of bite! Our assertive, hop-centric Double IPA has a lean malt backdrop and is brewed with four American hop varieties – Summit, Palisade, Cascade and Magnum. Piney, citrus, floral, not-for-the-timid!

Definitely worth a try. I like this IIPA, I feel it is a unique take. A: resin, citrus, alcohol A: a deep golden-amber. Some floaties, minimal head, decent lacing. I like the looks.

Aroma leads one to believe this will be a wonderful double IPA. Floral hops are very present. Body is medium with a good amount of carbonation. Flavor is where this one falls a bit flat. The hops taste too green and there is not enough malt to balance. In all an underwhelming double IPA.

Bland, almost soapy. Poor IPA flavor, buy a good attempt. Not my palate, probably never again.

Coppery orange hue from 22 oz..fluffy white head..pretty standard dipa in appearance..aroma of mango mostly..moderate malty character..flavor and mouthfeel are solid..flavor of mild orange hop juice..a bit toned down from your typical double.bitter pop on end..quite tasty with some peppery spice as well..leaves excellent lacing..hop intensity is more like a single than a double..pretty good offering and worth trying..

From the tap at the Brewery: Beautiful orange/amber color, hint of haze, with a creamy head. Nutty aroma with a little bite. Assertive taste with bitter notes right up front that soften into a tangy aftertaste. Full body but creamy texture. Overall, because of it;’s assertiveness, this is probably a one or two per sitting beer, but with this beer, that’s enough. Very nice DIPA.

Draft at the brewery. Served in a snifter. Overall, this is a very bready IPA with a heavy pine flavor. A bitter, almost menthol taste. Not crazy about it.

Refreshing bite. Great pour. Refreshing citrus flavors. Not my favorite DIPA, but pretty good.

Moderate sweet citrus aroma. Hazy orange color with a large white head. Sweet beginning that quickly turns bitter and last until the finish. Palate is very light along with carbonation. Will have to try again.

Bottle. Wow! "Light" appearance, a bright orange thing with an airy head. The aroma hints at something more. But it’s not until you sip this that the true beauty comes through. Rippling with muscular citrus and earthy grassiness. Delicious! (#4914, 1/15/2013)
