Bottleshare at Matteos. Thanks to Wingman. Hazy pinky - orange beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and soft, modest carbonation. Tangy berry fruits and a little bitterish floralness. Smooth semi dry finish. Its a bit too recessed.

12 ounce bottle from Our Daily Bread in Chatham, MA, served in a Lindemans glass about 10 minutes out of the fridge. Murky salmon-pink, largish fizzy head dies away immediately...tart raspberry aroma is rather faint and simple if not unpleasant...body is very dry and tart-to-sour, acidic, quite minimal sweetness, but the fruitiness is of the unripe and bitter type, not really that pleasant even to someone who loves lambic - its the particular kind of sourness and harshness thats the problem, like drinking something made from raw rhubarb or from thistle leaves... a few minutes sitting does smoothe it out and mellow things a bit, but this remains a harsh and unpleasant brew to my palate, with a stinging metallic quality to the finish to boot; low carbonation and slightly syrupy mouthfeel dont help matters. Its possible that this bottle is too old and has gone bad, but the date stamped on it indicates April of this year, and I cant imagine that an acidic fruit beer should go so off in 7-8 months, unless it was sitting in the sun for part of that time. Oh well.

Halloween 2016 - Can share at Matteos. Thanks Dave! As Two Roads Road Jam, 5.0%. Pours a pale peachy colour, hazy and opaque, foamy beige head. Aroma is rhubarb, raspberry and blackberry. Body is light, tingly carbonation, a little foamy. Taste is raspberry and blackcurrant, jammy sweet, dries out a little in the finish but its a sugar bomb. A bit sweet for my taste. Benefit of the doubt. (3.3)

Taste is also sweet and fruity with notes of raspberries and tart cherries. Light bodied with OK carbonation. Overall, good fruit beer

Light sweet flavour with more fleshy berries, more strawberry, some wheat bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, with more berries, strawberry. Can (12 oz) at home. Hazy amber-red with a medium pinkish head leaving little lacing. Aroma is raspberries forward but even though the description states its made with real raspberries it fels artificial to me with strong leafy notes and mild lemon presence. Taste is of raspberry jam with leafy notes, bile and some astringency. Light body. Medium-high carbonation with large bubbles creating an ample mouthfeel. Leafy finish. Its not horrible but I dont like the way raspberries comes out of this one and theres not much else going on in this beer.
