Never thought I’d see this on here (of course i have been neglecting the sake section of this site). Normally when going out for sushi, I tend to stick to hot Ginjo sake, but I’ve always been curious to try TY KU products. I asked the bartender for a shot, but she informed me that they only sell by the bottle. $20 later (for 330ml), i decide to skip dessert since this pretty much drinks like liqueur. Has an unfiltered cloudy/milky appearance with a very abundant coconut aroma. Taste was that of coconut milk, palm sugar and a slight vanilla extract aftertaste. An interesting flavor, but not something I see myself getting again. pumpmaster (1393) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - MAY 15, 2017
720ml bottle available at Total Wine for $15.99 Not bad, too much coconut flavor GTAEgeek (2185) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUN 19, 2015
Sample at Kroger. Cloudy white color, with an immediate nose of coconut, and notes of almonds and grain alcohol. Sweet flavor, smooth, with no aftertaste. Light to medium body, silky, and smooth. This is a gimmicky idea, to add coconut, but it’s hard to deny that it’s tasty! Carlisle (736) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2015
Bottle. Cloudy white color. Coconut flavor overwhelms.

Bottle from the Pennsylvania State Store at a cost of around $16. Loved the cloudy appearance and the unfiltered rawness. Taste is slightly irregular but unique enough to be interesting. Definitely worth a try.

Bottle with Linh and family while in Maryland 2014. Pours a cloudy milky creme colored body. Aroma is sweet banana and coconut. Mouthfeel is what I imagine a very "unbalanced" sake tasting like - flavors of piña colada and overly sweet coconut juice clash with a cloying alcoholic booziness. Wasn’t a huge fan. degbert (1772) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 18, 2014
Bottle. Pours a cloudy off-white with tinges of beige-yellow. Nose is coconut tanning lotion, vanilla, rice. Sweet with some stone fruit notes, but the coconut still comes off like Hawaiian Tropic rather than real coconut; I don’t know whether to drink it or smear it on my shoulders. Finish is hot and continued fake coconut. Doesn’t work. zach8270 (4022) - Henrietta, New York, USA - MAR 5, 2014
(bottle - 330 ml) Slightly cloudy clear color. Light coconut and banana popsicle aroma. Fermented rice sourness with a light hint of coconut and vanilla. Warming and not overpowering.
