bartlebier (4284) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAY 20, 2017
Cask halfpint at Cambridge Blue, April 2017. - Introduces a clean lemon candy sweetness and out-of-focus exotic NZ hop bitters (lime & pineapple peel, sweet elderflower?) to a typically blandish UK golden ale. Results in a refershing lime cordial mix on a rather faceless, enabling golden malt base. Clean and enjoyable.

Grumbo (4953) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - NOV 16, 2016
Rating from bottle collection/historic notes. Bottle, source not noted. Poured clear golden, with a white frothy head. Aroma fresh, nicely hopped, fruity. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Light body. Dry bitter hoppy finish. Was pretty good.

jjsint (3786) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2016
Handpull cask at the Townhouse, Ely. Mid-gold, almost clear. A quickly-receding ring of white head. Smells nice enough with some lemon/grapefruit notes, but there’s a hint of soap. Taste has a hint of sweetness at the start but gets messily bitter and astringent quite quickly. Long finish continues along those harsh bitter lines. Agree with maeib’s rate in 2011 that the NZ Cascade is dominant. Drinkable but not the most successful concoction.

JorgeLee (2373) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2013
Gravity at Cambridge Beer Festival 2013. Golden coloured bitter, not much of a head. Relatively hoppy with some bitterness in the finish. Little bit mushy malts upfront. Didn’t get cleanness from the hops, a bit muddled somehow. Ok.

Hazy gold beer. Tidy white head. Slight sulphur on the nose. Palate is semi dry. Mellow grapefruit hops with a touch of peach. Mild even malt underneath. Semi dry finish. Quite a tasty little beer but not getting much Nelson at all.

maeib (8750) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2011
Cask conditioned gravity dispense Northants Beer Festival 2011. Astraw to light orange coloured beer. Good sharp bitter citrus flavours. Nice aromas of citrussy hops. I reckon the NZ Cascade is dominant here. I liked it.
