Cask conditioned at Coventry Beer Festival ’17. Very dark brown with cream head. There is a malty sweetness to this from the start, lactic sugars and a fistful of vanilla. Sweet chocolate fills the palate along with some caramel. Very decent indeed. pitch992 (233) - SLOVENIA - DEC 20, 2016
caramels, chocolate, coffee, nuts, very gentle roast, low vanilla. brown- black, hazy, brown foam, good retention. light sweetness, light malt astringency- quite a good balance. Again caramels, chocolate, cofee, nuts, roast, some dry fruit, herbs. medium body, slick feel, soft carbonation, smooth (vanilla effect).
Overall quite a good one. Svesse (8777) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 21, 2016
(Cask at Craft Beer Co St Mary Axe, London, 26 Nov 2015) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with sweet coffee, liquorice and dark fruit. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, liquorice, dark fruit, vanilla and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, fairly sweet. On the sweet side, but quite tasty. Nice one. Bottle from Bier Huis.
Pours dark brown, almost black, with a large 2 finger tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, creamyness...Taste of initial milkyness, then cream, chocolate, dark fruits, raisins, blood orange, cherries, then more dark chocolate and smoky coffee tastes. Very nice.

Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear, dark brown with a fine, tan cream head. The aroma has milk chocolate, light roast. Medium sweet flavor with more milk chocolate, slight earthy bitterness, toasty bread, lasting sweet chocolate character. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Somewhat sticky sweet on the finish with more sugary milk chocolate, mellow roast, very light minerality, lots of rich, sweet cocoa. Very tasty. On keg at the Stockbridge Tap.
Appearance - opaque black with a thin head.
Nose - coffee and milk chocolate.
Taste - more sweet chocolate and coffee notes.
Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly balanced finish.
Overall - I don’t usually prefer to have a stout/porter chilled nor on keg. However, the coffee dimension is kept in check with the additional carbonation and chill.
