Our Regular bitter is at 4.1% ABV. With a hop mix that gives the beer a berryfruit character with berry aromas and a balanced bitterness, while the malt blend gives the beer a slight caramel undertone. A smooth and balanced bitter. Enjoy!

Cask conditioned at The Salutation, Tynemouth, Tyne & Wear. Gold with white head. This proved to be quite a fruity, plummy beer with a tartish apricot note. Tart throughout. Just okay.

500 ml bottle, from Det Gode Brygg, Sandnes. ABV is 4.1%. Amber colour, moderate white head. Weak aroma of English hops, hints of berries and dust. Soft mouthfeel, nice. Decent malts (for its strength) in the flavour, moderate English hops with pleasant berry notes, hints of toffee. Enjoyable. Might well buy again.

Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear deep amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of dark fruits, red berries, some apple, a little caramel and slight spicy hops. Taste of red berries, caramel, some orange, slight dark fruits, a little apple and subtle spicy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A sweetish, fruity, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. A plain and simple, spicy, fruity bitter. Not bad though.

Cask. Aroma mildly hoppy. Pours copper to amber with bubbly white thin top. Nicely balanced with biscuit malt for an easy swallow. A session bitter.

Flaske 500ml fra Kjeller 5. Amber. Filmskum. Plommearoma. Smaken lett fruktig. Fersken. Avslutter litt syrlig - men blir for tynn.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - MAR 8, 2016
Cask at The Bishops’ Mill (JDW), Durham, £1.99/pint. A deep copper coloured beer with a large, smooth, off-white head and a tiny touch of carbonation. The nose is muted but mildly fruity and hints at apples and dark berries. The taste is largely sweet with caramel malty flavours as well as some strawberry notes prominent. Bitterness is low so it’s easy to drink and I imagine very sessionable. Unspectacular but very steady and pleasant bitter.
