Excellent coffee beer, Juicy hop and lime aroma straight away. Excellent carbonation and lacing. Deep black with a red hue and a tight tan head. Excellent hopiness on the palate giving way to a definate yet mellow coffee in the aftertaste. Very well done as this does not have the nasty harsh bitterness of some coffee beers.
Another fanastic beer from Tyne Bank.

Bottle from Coppers in Newcastle. A black beer with a thin tan head. Red fruity, citrus and chocolate and coffee flavours with a roasted finish. Excellent! RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - APR 24, 2012
500ml bottle, Coppers, Ncl. Lovely coffee and citrus combination both smell and taste-wise. Bitter and fresh on the tongue, with a good vanilla flavour mingling with some late chocolate. Medicinal towards the back of the mouth, the tingling citrus flavours stay all the way through and the finish is razor sharp and a real pleasure. My favourite of their beers so far, hope to try it on draught aswell. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 19, 2012
On cask at the Ely Winter Beer Festival, 2012. A collaboration between Piccolo Coffee and Tyne Bank. Pours a very dark brown colour with a thick light tan head. Aroma of pine, coffee and chocolate. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Quite a dry finish. Lovely.
