Big pillowy yeast nose, with a starchy, dry hop and pine cone scent. Bitter, almost pugent, coarse and aggressive on the tongue. Flavors of chewy malts overrun with chaotic coarseness and dryness. The chewiness increases over time, and by the end of the glass, which I’m really enjoying, to be honest, it’s a big of a honey, hop and wheat bread flavor that is pretty nice. Less of a fruity, dank IPA and more of a toasty, piney IPA. Ungstrup (38242) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2007
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet with a strong note of hops as well as a medium note of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and hops, giving it a light note of grapefruit. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 9, 2007
bottle.....appearance: trasparent orange-brown with thin off-white head....aroma: mild hop aroma consisting of citrus aromatics but with a solid malt backbone to it....taste: bitter pine resin hop hits you immediatelyin the face but evened out by caramel malt all at the same time. finish is both bitter and sweet. the malts fade but the bitterness remains......agreed, the bite was a little overbearing bust still a good ipa. Bottle from tytoanderso - thanks! Certainly modest compared to Tyranena’s Hop Whore, but this is a very full and floral IPA, big and bready (its body and mouthfeel may be the most impressive element) with a lustrous hop profile that comes on strong but yields subtleties as it lingers. Substantial from the malts too, this one satisfies quite nicely. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2007
Clear orange colour with a white head. Malty, caramel sweet aroma with hoppy fruity and floral notes. Hoppy, pine bitter flavor with floral and fruity notes.

hazy amber, can rouse a short lived thin fine beige head producing a touch of lace, big sweet pine sap aroma, big hop flavor, relatively dry carmel malt, nice long bitter finish that lasts long after it’s finished,
Aroma: 7/10; Appearance: 7/10; Flavor: 6/10; Palate: 7/10; Overall: 12/20
Found this at a store in Madison....still around a year after it was brewed! Not the freshest example, but still plenty o hops there to let you know. Very similar to stiking it to the man, as i had these side by side. VERY difficult to tell the differnce, SITTM had a bit more hop bite that would linger on the pallet, it will be good to try one of these fresh. tyler_mn (1475) - SLP, Minnesota, USA - AUG 14, 2007
Bottle. Bright fruity hops on the nose. Some sweet malt and caramel as well. Very aromatic. Pours a rich copper with a frothy off-white head. Lots of sticky lacing. Puckeringly dry hops at first. Some dry malt as well. As it warms some tropical fruit notes develop (pineapple and coconut). Some caramel and toffee notes develop as well. Medium to fill bodied with lively carbonation. Bottle. Amber colour with a little head. Nice aroma of burned caramel and high alpha hops. Very bitter flavour with notes of hops and caramel. Ends up very bitter and nice.
