Bottle. The pour is black with a lacing head. The aroma is chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon. The taste has a nice blend of cocoa and vanilla, with a perfect hint of bourbon to warm you. A solid beer.

Aroma is carmel and chocolate. Way to sweet. But very nice thick mouthfeel and toast flavor. Aroma nice also. But sweetness kills this. JPDIPSO (6257) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAY 29, 2015
Nearly black with a hint of brown on the rim when held to the light. Big dark and roasted malt aromas. Backdrop has coffee and dark chocolate scents. Bourbon works its way to the front ever so slowly. Small dissipating head, just a ring and small isle of tan bubbles adrift. Thick, somewhat oily feel. Some acidity cut the feel in the middle to the end (3+). Sweet start, with roasted malts, dark chocolate, mint and coffee. Middle has some bourbon and touch of heat. Finish is hot and has a mild peppery kick. 6/10 umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - MAR 26, 2015
Bottle thanks to motortoddhead! Dark brown pour with a small creamy head that fades to a very thin ring. Aroma smells like chocolate chip cookies with oak and vanilla. More bourbon comes through in the taste but it’s still pretty light. Good chocolate chip cookie taste but the slight bitter roast covers it up a little. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium to full body. Very nice. kkleu357 (634) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 5, 2015
On tap at Tyranena. Dark pour. Aroma of mild bourbon and sweet chocolate. Very tasty. Hints of caramel, chocolate, mild roast, and just the right amount of bourbon. One of the best beers I’ve had from Tyranena.

Trade extra from a couple weeks ago. Thanks! Pours black into the glass, though not super viscous thick. Very small ring of off white or khaki head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of big earthy coffee, very very sweet chocolate sauce, just a bit of vanilla, a little bit of booze. Flavor is earthy coffee, a bit of sweet chocolate, and lots of vanilla sitting on the palate in a long finish. Not much bourbon influence here as far as I can tell. Silky smooth, but a bit on the thinner side, with low carbonation. Nice mesh of flavors here, though I expected a bit more body and a bit more bourbon. Definitely worth checking out. Like a great cask, in that the chocolate is but moderately carbonated. Vanilla delicious. Very drinkable. GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 20, 2014

>> Clear deep cola pour, okay foam. Nose is alcohol, soy, rum, brown sugar. Taste is sweet maple and brown sugar, medium body, big sugary density. Sweet and stickier body. Okay. Alcohol presence seems higher than abv suggests.
Sampled at DLD 2014. It poured a black color with a small tan head. The aroma was moderately sweet, with bourbon, vanilla and light cocoa. The taste was moderately sweet, with some roastiness, vanilla, earthy and a faint alcohol burn. Nice. Strykzone (7483) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 25, 2014
Sampled at dld eve. An intetesting aroma that has a lot going on. Bourbon is big. Chocolate, vanilla. Espresso on bourbon. Very good.
