Bottle pour into snifter glass from Belgium. Copper color slightly deeper hue than expected. Smell is really good...hops with some sweetness. Taste has some resin elements and a good deal of hops. Definite backbone of malt. Dries out the mouth while covering the palette. Probably worth a romp despite the STD risk.

Lijkt redelijk op de La Trappe Oak Aged. Heerlijk aroma en mooie schuimkraag. Een bijna perfecte afdronk.

Not a big fan of IPAs, but the name had me interested. A very earthy flavor, deep red appearance, and add an earthy aroma. OK for the the style.

A very good ipa from Tyrrhenian. Super hoppy and nicely bitter. Smells hoppy and had this one at home ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of the more multi IPAs. Very similar to a victory hop Devil. I prefer the more classic West Coast IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

sample at Food Bank bottle share, deeper orange pour. pretty potent bitterness with a hefty malt backbone. Nice

A strong iipa. Pours a great burnt orange with head and lacing. Aromas are dank hops and sweet caramel. Nice backbone of malt on this. Great resiny finish. Nice stuff.

bottle - Pours amber with a big, light tan head and good lacing. It has a citrus and malt aroma. The flavor features big hops bitterness and caramel. It’s full bodied with a long bitter finish. It’s strong and very good though for me not as good as some other double IPAs.

3.2
Gription79 (2893) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - JAN 3, 2014
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. The aroma is pine hops, caramel malts, and signs of oxidation. The flavor is a strong caramel maltiness, pine and resinous hops, more signs of oxidation. This is a dull IIPA, way too sweet, and oxidized. This would be a better beer fresh for sure. A malty bitter bomb.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a very dark orange with some chunkies and a finger of thick white head. Aroma is loads of citrus and grapefruit with some pine resin and caramel. Taste is medium bitter. Loads of citrus and pine with a strong caramel backbone. Full bodied with a thick creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, awesome. This one is a winner for sure.
