Bottle at the Funky 6. Pours clear, amber-gold with a moderate, white head. Nice fruits and hops in the aroma with yeasty notes. Fairly sweet with some orange citrus, malts, light caramel and decent bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Dries out a bit in the finish with some crisp yeast notes and lingering citrus peel bitters. Nice beer. jtclockwork (16691) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 18, 2011
Bottle thanks to a generous trader. Shared with jcwattsrugger. Pours clear brown. Nose of hops, caramel malt and toffee. Taste is caramel malt, dry piny hops and Belgian yeast. Soft mouth feel. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 14, 2012
Pours a hazy golden orange color with an off-white head. Still surprisingly hoppy for the age of this beer. Lots of fruity and floral notes along with quite a bit of yeast and some nice esters. Sweet bread and malt flavor are more pronounced on the palate. The citrus and fruit character translates to the flavor as well. A hint of grass and only a mild bitterness with some yeastiness toward the back end. Drake (13952) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 20, 2011
12 ounce bottle from Crown Liquors #19 in Carmel. Pours a clear amber color with a large frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of earthy hops and biscuit malts. The taste is sweet malts, sweet tea, bitter earthy hops and toasted malts. Medium bodied.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2011 Bottle shared by JaBier. Pours a cloudy reddish-amber color with a medium rocky off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, cloves and fruit. Medium body with flavors of fresh fruit, yeast, cloves and grain. The finish is citrusy with a sweet spice aftertaste that lingers. Decent overall.

12 oz twist off bottle (when you switchin to pry off Tyranena?) Apparently it is a spin off of Bitter Woman. It is the Summer Seasonal for 2010.
Pours a nice deep amber/orange with a passionfruit skin tint. The head is small even with a vigorous pour. It recedes with some decent lacing.
The smell is big and Belgian. No sign of hops in here. I wish there was more hops here. Instead it is pure Belgian yeast. It is sweet, carmally, fruity, and clovey, but not hoppy, disappointment there.
The hops appear more in the flavor with a slight bitterness but the yeast is all over this. Tons of clove, tons of fruit (banana), tons of sweetness, and tons of caramel malt. Mostly just like drinking bittersweet yeast.
Overall it is rather meek for the style that usually brings a decent amount of hops in addition to a nice yeast presence, this one is a bit one dimensional.

(12oz bottle, courtesy of blutt59) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, toasted grain, yeast, and caramel. Flavor of pineapple, nuts, caramel, light pepper, and Belgian yeast. jcwattsrugger (12450) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 1, 2011
Nice touch by Tyranena of adding thirdeye11 in a cheesehead hat and monk robe on the bottle.
IPA12oz bottle-thanks jtclockwork for sharing-pours a dissipating light tan head and hazy amber color. Aroma is yeast, citrus/resin/spice hops, light fruit-peach, some medium malt. Taste is medium malt-some caramel, yeast, citrus/resin/spice hops, light fruit-peach. Easy. Sammy (12351) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 11, 2011
Bottle from Reilly’s in Madison. Looks closer to a Belgian, tastes closer to an IPA. A delight, a clear hop delivery, cushioned by yeast rather than malt secondary. Golden diffused by the off-white yast. Hoppy aroma. Very good drinkability. Tad above average mouthfeel, though carbonation was right there. slowrunner77 (12147) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 1, 2014
everything in this beer is subtle, especially on the nose, but the sum of the parts is quite nice. juicy hops and a zing of yeast in the aroma. light, and approachable, as is the flavor. complex, but mellow. citrus and floral hops with a dry yeasty finish. good balance. thanks John."
