Bottle from Tooch via trade. Pours pitch black with a one finger tan head. The nose is roast, milk chocolate and coffee. The taste is ashy cocoa, milk chocolate, roast, coffee and light hops. Medium bodied. Enjoyable stout. 3.8 kaser (6364) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Bottle pour at world of beers in Evanston. Black with not much head. Nutty mild chocolate cocoa flavor. Malty. Very tasty arkurzynski (2446) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - APR 30, 2014
Pitch black with big tan head. Nose heavy with acidic roast malt, coffee, and dark chocolate. Smooth, oatmeal-silky body with more acidic roast malt/coffee with a faint sweet aspect. Lingering bitter chocolate and roast. The acidic roasted malt quality is just slightly more than I’d like. Nice stuff. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - APR 10, 2014
[Tap] Draught at Farmhouse in Evanston. Pours an opaque black color with a lasting brown head. Aroma is of roasted malts, chocolate, espresso and vanilla bean. Oatmeal comes out a bit more in the flavor. Milk chocolate, mocha, earthy notes and lingering bittersweet finish. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Pleasantly surprised by this one. Too thin in my opinion especially for an oatmeal stout. Has a finger tan head that recess nicely. Good flavor nothing that makes it unique but a middle of the road oatmeal chocolate stout.

Black pour with a creamy tan colored head. Chocolate & roast aroma. Creamy mouth. Lots of roast & dark chocolate. Bitter espresso creeps in as it warms. Roasted nuts also pop in and out of this one as your drink it. Lace is present. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Bottle. Pours thick, nearly black. medium creamy light brown head, fairly lasting with some lace. Lighter medium body. Creamy. Fairly Soft. Oatmeal character makes a super smooth mouthfeel. Aromatic and flavorful. Sweet. Roasty. Really pleasant bitterness through the finish. Coffee and chocolate stand out. jsquire (4538) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Deep mahogany color out of the bottle with a fluffy brown head. Chocolate and cereal grain nose. Very smooth mouthfeel with flavors of chocolate, dark toast, dried fruit, burnt caramel, and some sweetened coffee in the finish. Tasty oatmeal stout. ESBob (379) - Indiana, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Bottle. Pours nearly black with ample tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is combo of roast malt, toffee and chocolate. Taste is roasted caramel, chocolate, marshmallow and some oats. Slightly bitter finish with thin mouthfeel. b3shine (9027) - Indiana, USA - MAR 1, 2014
Draft to taster. Looks good; a mostly opaque dull block with light beige lacing. Smells of dark malt, dark chocolate, oats, and light roast. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel; a bit of a metallic finish though. A solid example of the style.
