A: The pour is a dark brown color with a solid tan colored head.
S: Plenty of dark chocolate and coffee aromas to this beer. The oatmeal provides a bit of a "cookie" note which is fantastic.
T: The nose pretty much clues you in on the taste: a lot of dark, somewhat bitter, chocolate along with a touch of coffee. The oatmeal gives the beer a real smoothness to the beer.
M: I love the mouthfeel of a good oatmeal stout. Medium in body with an almost silky feel on the tongue.
D: It was only a few months ago that I had just found out about this brewery, and now, I can’t get enough of their beers. Another solid offering! Tmoney99 (14948) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 13, 2011
