UPDATED: OCT 26, 2016 From bottle, the pour is clear and light Auburn. The head is off white and thins quickly. The aroma is crisp/clean ale with faint notes of grains. The taste is roasted wheat and grains, like whole grain wheat bread. The finish is slightly bitter but overall it is grains. Good easy drinking beer, easily see this in a Stein.

12oz bottle from Woodmans in Waukesha. Tis the season? Sweet malty, with the lightly fruitiness of the marzen malts. A touch grainy for style. Nothing to stand out here. Nice for the Tyranena tick, but not a fan of the style. 12.8

This isn’t exactly a home run. It’s very clear but the yeast charater is all malt-liquory and wierd. It’s very earthy and grassy w/ spritzy carbonation. No thank you.

Bottle. Copper color with thin, off-white head and substantial lacing. Malt aroma with honey, cherry, and caramel notes. Sweet malt with honey notes upfront. Slight bitterness and hint of smokiness in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Malty aroma. Amber color with quickly dissipating white head. The flavor is caramel and spices.

pours a slightly murky amber gold with a decent bubbly head. Aroma is hay. Taste is slightly sweet, but then a nice balance of malt and hops with fairly quick finish. Nothing off-putting, easy to drink.

Pours a copper orange color with a foamy beige head. The taste is smooth, malty and easy drinking. Nothing special but easy drinking.

Nice amber color with frothy head that leaves behind a lace on the glass. Faint malt and hop aroma, hops more grassy and malt more candy corn. Nice caramelized flavor sweet but not overly sweet. Easy drinking, smooth finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Originally reviewed: 10/27/10. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a warm amber/orange with a thin white head on top. Light lace left behind. Nice color though. Scents of smooth malts, sweet candied sugars, toffee, and warm bread. Good nose for the style. Full crisp body with ample carbonation. Finishes refreshing and smooth. Full bounty of flavors with caramel, toffee, sweet bready malts and finishes with just enough hop presence to keep me satisfied. Good balanced Festbier here. Glad I finally made it to this WI "rarity."
