WisconsinBeer (716) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - OCT 11, 2008
Bottle. Orange amber color, minimal foamy head with a decent bit of carbonation. Flavor is rich roasted malt, a bit of bread, some spiciness toward the end. More hops and spice than the average Marzen. Medium bodied, a bit chalky on the palate. More flavor than most similar style beers. Good stuff. esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 28, 2008
Amber to orange with a thin white head that quickly fades. Aroma of sweet malt, spice, bread and Vienna. Taste is somewhat spicy and definitely malty with some lager yeast mixed in. Kinda watery and finishes mildly spicy. So-so. noncaloric (684) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 21, 2008
Aroma: Light malts and grassy hops. Appearance: Light amber orange with a finger of off-white head. Leaves a spotty lacing. Flavor: Lightly sweet malt profile, cooked cereals, raw sugar, dry biscuit; balanced by grassy hops. The bitter element is a bit much cold, but the beer comes into balance as it warms. Palate: Watery, but kicks up a nice soft carbonation when savored. KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - SEP 7, 2008

Classic US misinterpretation of a German Oktoberfest highibus (823) - Vail, Arizona, USA - FEB 26, 2008
120z bottle from bockyhorsey. Pours a completely cear copper color with almost no head. Aroma is sweet malt and almost a spiciness (not necessarily hop based). The first thing that hits me is the body, medium, but a ligering chewiness. Nice sweet maltiness with a slight hop bite. A nice oktoberfest. Thanks Bill.
