12 oz. bottle courtesy of my Secret Santa. Thanks. Pours a clear amber color with a medium beige head that doesn’t last. The aroma is moderately sweet caramel malt and biscuits or bread. The flavor is much of the same, caramel malt, bread, but these flavors are joined with a touch of citrus. This is incredibly creamy smooth going down. Decent brew. turbo (1271) - Arizona, USA - FEB 13, 2008
Flavor and aroma of sweet malt, roast, floral hops.
Finish is sweet and candylike, cloying.
Not bad. Bockyhorsey (2638) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - NOV 16, 2007
12oz bottle coutesy of my motherin law. Aroma seemed to be different from other Octoberfests. Was sweet and more malt aromas than usual spice upfront. Off white head didn’t last long and copper color body. Sweet sticky malty flavor with some spicey bitterness up front that disipated half way though beer. Sweet candy aftertaste left on palate decent brew. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - OCT 30, 2007
12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a clear copper color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. Flavor and aroma is toasted malt. Light to medium body. A decent Märzen. Thanks Bill. sliffy (2040) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 11, 2007
Bottle: Pours a clear copper color with an off white head. Aroma, spices, caramel, some nutty notes. Flavor, crisp earthy notes, some yeasty character, sweet and malty, some spice towards the end.

Lightly roasted malt aroma on this orange beer. Light carmel body with a hoppy finish. JK (6393) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - SEP 30, 2007
A decent Oktoberfest, but really about average for the style. Light malt flavors and aroma. Some caramel. A little sweet. Medium to thin palate. Very easy to drink. badgerben (5388) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - SEP 29, 2007
Of course, a growler from Skyview. Copper color with no head. Really no aroma at all. A little sweet grain taste. Slight floral hop finish. Not bad and very drinkable, but not much going on. Brigadier (3805) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - SEP 27, 2007

The pickings continued to be slim so I opted to give this a try even though I intend to pick up a six pack for myself in a few weeks time. It wasn’t bad but I’ve had better oktoberfests. This one was probably one of the better ones available at the time though.
Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy brown body was transparent with a busy carbonation. Honey, caramel and orange cream highlight the aroma which also contains wheat. It is not complex but it does the job.
Flavor / Palate - Caramel and honey form the basis of most of the sips. Chocolate cocoa puffs unfold as a suprise before the end. It is drinkable and enjoyable without setting the world on fire.
Sampled at the brewery. Pours a nice reddish brown. Nice smoky malty aroma with a nice floral hops. Very creamy roasted malt profile and a nice dose of biscuity sweetness with a light but definately present floral hop finish.
