A: The beer pours a light amber color with a finger of white head.
S: Smells strongly of bubblegum...okay? A bit of bread and toasted malt. Some earthy hop notes and a definite caramel malt. Maybe a bit of metal to it, too.
T: Like the aroma, intense bubblegum flavor. Earthy hops with a light bitterness. Lots of caramel and toffee flavors with a little bit of spices. A little bit of toasted bread.
M: Medium bodied with a medium carbonation.
O: The bubblegum just ruined this for me. Drake (13738) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a clear amber color with a creamy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted malts and grassy hops. The taste is toasted malts, green apple and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 10, 2011
12 oz brown twist-off bottle.
It pours a nice amberish/orange with a white head that sticks for a bit but doesn’t leave much lacing.
The smell is simple, nutty grains and a bit of fruitiness.
The flavor almost brings a saltiniess. There is a noticeable hop bite, buttery malts and a hint of nuttiness. It is a bit sweet and bitter for the style.
It is middle-of-the-raod oktoberfest territory.
