Pours amber with yellow head. Malty aroma with hints of grassy hops. A little skunk. Smooth, with malt in the front and some spicy hoppiness on the tail end. Would prefer it to have a little more body/mouthfeel and character. Warmth on the way down. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - AUG 22, 2010
On tap at the brewery in a stein, pours a nice clear amber color with a thick white head, the aroma was very sweet with malt and the flavor has a great malt finish, very smooth and nice. AWISLguy (3109) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 1, 2016
12oz bottle from Woodmans in Waukesha. Tis the season? Sweet malty, with the lightly fruitiness of the marzen malts. A touch grainy for style. Nothing to stand out here. Nice for the Tyranena tick, but not a fan of the style. 12.8 THE BEER BARON (275) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 3, 2001
Nice flavor. I wouldn’t mind having a few of those one liter stiens of this. booyaatribe (450) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 24, 2002
Doesn’t have that hoarhound candy note that Oktoberfests should. Then again, it’s fairly tasty in its own way.

From a 12 oz. twist off stubby bottle with blurbs on the label, no freshness dates, but this is the fall ’06 release.
Poured a amberish copper with a foamy, fluffy head that settled into a thin bubbly lacing, minimal amount of sticking.
Floral and fruity aromas with touches of toasted grain and caramel.
Good, steady carbonation and a softly crisp, smooth light-medium bodied mouthfeel.
Pleasant Oktoberfest taste, a soft toasted grain, a light tasting sweet caramel, hints of toffee, floral and fruity hops that have a subdued spiciness, and in the finish, some earthy nuttiness and sweet maltiness.
A nice drinkable seasonal Oktoberfest from Tyranena, I personally would have like a little more grain and malt flavor, but still drinkable, a Wisconsin friend told me this is better from the tap.

Of course, a growler from Skyview. Copper color with no head. Really no aroma at all. A little sweet grain taste. Slight floral hop finish. Not bad and very drinkable, but not much going on. joergen (28142) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 19, 2008
Clear golden coloured with a small white ehad.
Sweet aroma of malts and caramel with notes of fruits and hops.
Sweet flavour of malts and caramel with notes of fruits, lavender and hops.
Hoppy finish. Drake (13737) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a clear amber color with a creamy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted malts and grassy hops. The taste is toasted malts, green apple and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. muzzlehatch (4959) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 30, 2002
Bottled. Slight thin diminishing head, clear medium-dark amber. Decent balanced caramel/hoppy nose. Slightly on the bitter side for the style, but plenty of malt; not a lot of character though. Finishes medium-sweet. OK.
