"Drinkers of this brand are fond of its delicate hop aroma, golden color and thick, white head. The aroma, being the assurance of excellent taste, is beyond the reach of most Polish beers." 11.7P

Prawdziwy klasyk. Piwo, które smakuje jak każdy inny koncernowy pils. Pite dość dawno.

Standardowy International lager. Zapach slodowy. Kolor złoty i przejrzysty.

For a Lager this is a well drinkable, decent brew. Had it from a bottle in Poland and Germany, from tap in Poland. Not bad at all. (Of course, also not a match to more intense and flavorful beers beyond the Lager)

27/09/2017 - 500ml bottle from a preasant. Clear golden, with medium head. Nose is malts, some corn. Taste is malts, some hops. Not really much, but not bad for a lager.

Review: 500ml Bottle of Tyskie Gronie: ABV: 5.5% Nice big brown looking bottle that is a 500 ml bottle, and not the usual 300ml sized one can get, which is all good, that bit more to drink! Like the striking label, which apparently depicts the royal crown of Polish King, John III Sobieski, born in 1629, the same year the brewery was founded. Based on the original recipe all those years ago. Head big on pour, a huge white head. Golden clear colour. Head reduces in size but maintains. Bit of carbonation. Not a bad looking beer. Get a lot in the bottle! Lovely smell although a bit tinty and stringent, of light citrus. Bit soapy on initial taste, a very industrial taste. Hoppy and too sweet at start. Bit sickly. Not nice. Creamy mouth feels. Ok not really enjoying this. Tasty but not nice flavours. Manageable, just about! Gave me a bit of a head the next day which I didn’t want or need! Like an angry uncle!! Will the Polish drink any old s....? Will pass on this in the future, disappointing………..

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2017 W zapachu nic szczególnego, barwa klarowna złocista, piana szybko znika. Smak to lekki chmiel i lekka goryczka, wysycenia w normie. Typowy polski koncerniak. ENGLISH: Aroma nothing special, appearance is clear and golden, minimal fast disappearing head. Soft hoppy and bitter taste, nothing special. Pol industrial beer.

Can 500 ml. Aromas of "industrial" malts and alcohol. Clear golden white small white head. Cheap taste of malts and some citrus finish to it. Average pale lager overall.
