"Drinkers of this brand are fond of its delicate hop aroma, golden color and thick, white head. The aroma, being the assurance of excellent taste, is beyond the reach of most Polish beers." 11.7P

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2009 Bottle from supermarket in Krakow. Golden yellow color. Aroma is malty and rather grassy. Flavour is malty, grassy, lightly sweet, light touch of alcohol but not disturbing. Not bad but boring.

Best before date of "06.07.07", with the date of "21.06.23" just below. Id not previously been aware of this beer; at the end, it is just another garden variety eastern European lager. The colour was a too-light gold, paired with a foamy white head, albeit a short-lived head. Aroma was nicely grassy, and the taste was a decent balance of hops and malt. Mouthfeel was not objectionable, nor were the taste and aftertaste.

50cl bottle poured into a lager glass. Sparkling golden with a small white head. Aroma is very subdued floral hops. Flavor is an even balance of sweet malt and bitter hops with fruit undertones. Bitter finish. Rather pleasant for a lager.

Pours a medium glowing golden with a thick fluffy white head. Aroma is very malty and grainy, typical cheaper premium lager. Has some nice fruitiness and just a subtle floral hop character. Flavor isnt awful, very sweet and pleasantly not metallic or astringent or awfully bitter, just unbalanced. Picks up some hop spiciness towards the finish and a lager yeast character that is typical of the eastern European lagers. Medium body and an active carbonation. Not terribly bad, better than a lot of American versions of the style and easily drinkable.

Hangovers from this tend to go on and on for quite a while must be something about Polish beers in general. No wonder its getting so popular in England lately, cheap rubbish product.

Hahahaha This one caught me off guard! Got a can here in Scharbeek, Brussels, Belgium in a little shop across from the train station. Poured with an excellent, big, white, foamy, frothy head and just a bit of lace. Color is a very clear rich gold. Aroma is a hoppy bitter malt, nice and beery. Flavor is a big let down - instead of the clean hoppy/malty qualities of the aroma you get an over sweet malt with a touch of hop. Undercarbonated. Bleh. Dont like the body; in one way it seems heavy malty sweet and in another thin. Weird. Me no like.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale golden color. Not much to say- very average pale lager. Drinks a bit better when at room temperature; palate is not as rough as you would expect given the bitter flavor.

Bottle from Tesco. Pretty awful. Overly sweet, under hopped and criminally bland.

Canned from a Sklep in Antwerpen. Nice warm yellow color, thin but creamy head. Aroma has hops and sweetness. Nice finishing malty bitterness. Nicely composed beer.
