Poured a slightly murky medium brown with an off white head. Aroma of zesty banana and light spice. Typical of the style, but an excellent example of it.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is banana and estery fruity. Crisp and classic. Slight bitterness showing through in the flavoured. Estery and dry into the finish.

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy dirt brown colour with rich head. Light acidic nose with clove and dough. Silky smooth mouthfeel, low on Co2 and clearly sourish acidic. Vague notes of clove and ginger in taste, and leaning towards vinegar. Light to medium body.

MiP (16082) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2009
Draught at the brewpub as Polotmave Weissbier. Quite cloudy dark brown colour. Stable light brown head. The flavour is slightly caramelly. Has a little sourness in the finish, not exactly unpleasant, balances off the malt, I guess.

armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 3, 2009
Draught at the brewpub, called Polotmavy weiss...Caramel-murky brown body with a stable foamy tan head. Fine caramel, mild lactic acid, some citruses and banana in the moderated aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, rich body with mild taste of lactic acid, fruity lemon and banana, fine toasty caramel flavor with some spicy clove and vanilla. Mild aftertaste. Delicious, decent

ogivlado (8420) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 23, 2009
Draught at the brewpub.
Nice murky brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, mild fruity caramel nose. Yeasty, caramel and clove taste with notes of raisins. A bit too weak and one-dimensional.
