On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy dark brown with a firm and ever lasting off-white head. Aroma with spicy phenols and some banana esters, some malt and fruit, and quite a it of alcohol. Sweet, dark dried fruit and banana flavour with a full body. A touch of licorice and roasted malt in the finish, also giving it a slight tart note

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy brown, rich creamy head. Fruity medicinal aroma. Medium sweret with rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Warming cranberry-like alcohol, fairly low bitterness. Some sloppy caramel and mild sourness takes it down one notch.

Tap @ Brewpub as Dunkles weizen Doppelbock. Pours nearly black with a large creamy head and lacings. Nose and taste is fruit, caramel and liquorice. Flavor also adds a bit of banana. Very vinous. Smooth and full bodied. Vaguely sticky.

(Draught at Richter Pivovar u Bulovky, Prague, 22 July 2008) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, yeasty nose with notes of banana, clove and hints of chocolate. Malty taste with a spicy wheat character, banana, over ripe plums and hints of clove and chocolate. Nice beer with lots of character, the most impressive of the beers I tried at the brewpub.

From tap at the brewpub, written with one p on the chalkboard. Pours dark hazy orange with a creamy off-white head. Light acidic and mild wheaty aroma, not classic estery but holds a solid butterish note. Butterish flavoured with a mild caramel malt note and only a vague estery wheat flavour. Ends dry caramel flavoured.
