From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and slight breadish. Roasted dark malty, toffee to liqourice. Breadish and caramelish too. Ends dry and subdued bitter, slight roasted.

Aroma is mouldy wood, charred bread, malts, tart apple, hint of smoke. Flavour is composed of wood, apple, moud, roasted malts, earthy, dirt. Palate is average body, moderate carbonation.Touch infected, not very good.
