Draught: Very dark amber coloured, firm creamy off-white foam; medium to solid caramelly and roasty nose with a certain fruitiness; light to medium bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, not watery; slightly lingering bitter-sweet and toasty-fruity finish. Nice, but a bit too light.....

KyotoLefty (10604) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 20, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Pitch black and shiny, with a tall, fuine, chocolate-milkshake head. Rather faint aroma of chocolate and milk coffee, cream. Mild, creamy, sweet-and-dry falvor, with chocolate cookies, some roasty coffee, vanilla ice cream, a touch of wood. Very smooth and mild. Some tartness. Rather subdued flavors, but delicious. Very low carbonation is great. Full, creamy mouth. Lovely.
