Draught at the brewpub on May 19, 2009
Hazy golden color, fluffy white head. Sweet malty and herbal hoppy scent. Herbal spicy hoppy taste. Moussy mouthfeel, medium herbak bitterness.

My Bottom Line:
A pleasant honeyed malt and floral hop tandem swims in an oily, slick mouthfeel for a simple pint of Svetly.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam tops the misty amber-hued dark golden.
-The flavor profile is mostly malty after all. Hop bitterness is very mild (doesn’t build even after many gulps).
-Mouthfeel is very professional.
-Drinkability is very high.

On tap at the brewpub.

draft. creamy, rich and soft mouthfeel. mild toasted grains and semi-sweet butter in the nose with similar flavor. seems a bit nutty but it’s not quite out of place. a hearty, rich and toasty svetly with exceptional creaminess and frothiness.

Cuso (8935) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - SEP 4, 2013
Tap at brewery pub in center of Brno. Hazy dark golden color with small white head. Strong malty aroma. Sweet malty taste with honey.

Gurthnar (6197) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAR 20, 2014
Tap at their pub. Aroma is mostly malty. Lightly hazy golden colour. White head, shorter duration. Taste is rather malty, honeyish, but balanced with crisp grassy, lightly lemony hops. The bitterness comes more forward in the quite lengthy finish. Clean and tasty refreshing lager.

JulienHuxley (5950) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 15, 2013
On tap at a random drum and bass club in Brno. Blond pour, creamy white head. Aroma is really cereal forward, light crisp honey malts, my nose keeps searching for a touch of saaz without finding one. Taste is equally cereal forward, nice biscuity maltiness, easy drinking, but lacking that good hop bite of other traditional svetles. Palate is well rendered, nice and silky, super easy drinking. Good if a bit bland.

On tap at Café Flexaret with HDI 13.12.14. Very hazy golden. Fruity aroma and taste, reminiscent of weissbier. Moderate bitterness.
