Erzengel (9467) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 6, 2014

Cuso (8935) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - SEP 30, 2011
Bottle from brewery. Hazy dark brown color with huge beige creamy head. Aroma of coffee, caramel, roasted malt. Taste, coffee, milk chocolate, roasted malt, hints of caramel. Nice long bitter finish. Nice.

Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 4, 2011
11/10/11/10/8/10

wow! i am surprised i had not got around to rating this before. dark brown with a modest beige head, decent cocoa powder nose, plenty of plum, modest sweetness, some whipped cream and finishes reasonably dry. an easy beer to drink a lot of

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2008
On tap. Hazy dark brown with an orange hue and a creamy beige head. Aroma of sweet roasted malts and a little coffee. Medium body, sweetish roasted malts, flower accents and a light underlying fustiness, but nothing to spoil the overall picture. Very subdued bitterness. 280608

Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - NOV 1, 2008
on tap at the brewpub. Hazy deep dark brown, nearly black colour, large beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied with flavours of roasetd malt, caramel, chocolate... Very malty, but not too sweet. This is balanced perfectly. I could drink this all night long.

[on tap at brewpub] Roasty aroma with vanilla and a little sweet malt. Opaque brown with a tawny sheet on top that dots the glass as the beer is consumed. Almost sherry-like roasty/toasty flavour with definitely some hops in there. Smooth, medium body, moderate carbonation, clean finish.

KimJohansen (10497) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2008
Dark brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with hints of roasted malt and rye bread. Sweet flavor with that holds roasted malt and caramel. Very mild ands ends sweet.

Christian (13814) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2008
Hazy dark brown beer with a small but lasting off-white head. Malty caramel aroma, with some hops and a touch of prunes. Sweet with roast malt flavour, and a hint of hops in the finish. One of the more boring Czech dark beers.
