on tap at the brewpub, a couple of days before xmas. i must admit i was expecting another version of their amber ale; instead this is a polotmavy bock. copperish with a thin head and loadsa lacing; weirdarse mango aroma with wet tiles; plenty of alcohol showing but in a way that was pleasantly warming; tinny in a bockish way with traces of vanilla and toffee. just a bit messy compared with their other offerings

Draught at the brewpub. Lightly cloudy, amber colored. AROMA- honey sweet, malty. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, moderately bitter, toasted malts, red berries. Medium to fuller bodied.

Tap. Lightly hazy red to amber body, milky white head. Aroma of cherries, malts, berries. Taste is lightly bitter supported by some malty sweetness. Berries, malts, softly roasted, cherries, fruity finish. Medium body and carbonation.

(draught) hazy amber-brown colour with a frothy light-beige head. aroma of heavy butterscotch and toffee, with a light touch of red bell peppers, bread dough and lemon peel. flavour is mostly the same, heavy toffee, butterscotch and some cherry liqueur, with a faint hint of oranges, treebark and sugar icing in the semi-dry finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at tri ruzi, had it with cam and jwow. pours dark amber with a small creamy head. lacing like soapy dishwater. malty yeasty aroma. taste of malts and hops. pretty thin and not much spice so it didnt feel like much of an xmas beer. ehhhhhhh not the best

Pour was a full amber color at the pub. A nice malty aroma with some grassy hop notes. Flavor followed, didn’t find any spicing in it to be significant, good hop balance and robust malty flavors all around. Mouthfeel was moderate to full and quite drinkable. No alcohol heat from the extra bump in content. A nice heavy Fall type beer, works for me at Christmas as a more subtle special beer.

0,4l on Tap at Tri Ruze. Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit cremigem Schaum. Leicht fruchtiges Aroma; schmeckt auch so dazu wunderbar malzig und angenehm gehopft, mit einer kleinen Note nach Zimt. Tolles Weihnachtsbier!

Bottle frpn Praugue. Deep amber beer with a beige head. Malty, caramell, fruity, spicy aroma. Similar flavour.
