Tap at the brewery. Quite your traditional weizen. Full bodied with high carbonation, long lasting head. Rather sweet and malty but balanced by sharp carbonation and light spiciness of the yeast. Banana and clove balanced in moderate amount. Very good.

Sampled on August 3, 2017.
At U Tří Růží, Praha.
From tap as Summer Weiss - Letni Pzenicny Special.
Cloudy yellow color, white head with lacing. Phenolic clove, a tad banana taste. Clove aftertaste. Fizzy yet sort of full mouthfeel, low bitterness. Banana, some clove scent.

Koelschtrinker (22718) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUL 18, 2017
Hefig-bananiger, dabei angenehm wenig süßer Antrunk. Spritzig bananig, weich, konstante Intensität. Starke Karbonisierung, dennoch fein, langer Nachhall. Gut. 11/9/11/10//10

Tap (Tri Ruzi, Prague) as "Weissbier U3R"
Pretty convincing estery bananaey weisse aroma. Slightly watery palate, carbonation highish, a bit minerally. Pleasant wheatiness in the taste, some orange spiciness. Finish minerally and wheatish, a bit sharp, yeasty, and fizzy. Passable wheat, but the weakest of the 5 (but that’s a very high bar).

Marduk (8998) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 8, 2016
Tap (U Tří Růží, Prague). Hazy orange color. No head. Wheat, banana, sweet notes in aroma. Wheat, milky, banana and minerals in taste. Sweet and banana in aftertaste. Solid brew.

Vycap pivovar. Zlta mutna farba, biela pena. Vona bananova, jemne vanilkova. Chut ostra na jazyku. Banany, trosku vanilka, citrusove tony. Prijemna dlha dochut. Stredna nasytenost. Osviezujuce.

jfb (7287) - GERMANY - APR 12, 2016
(draught) murky deep amber-brown colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of raspberries and powdered sugar, with a touch of pear juice, some melted wax, brown sugar and yeast. flavour is mostly the same, gently roasted malts, wax and some clove, with a hint of cherry syrup, some caramel and a semi-dry finish. medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation.

hauxe (1094) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - APR 3, 2016
Draft at the source. Orange with a thick head that soon dissolves into a thin but persistent creamy layer. Aroma promises banana, and lots of it, and the taste follows through. Sweet for the style, and with additional hints of cherry and, faintly, sasparilla. However the sweetness remains within the levels of acceptable and this is a pleasant beer, just not a great one.
