On tap U Tri Ruzi (01 & 08/03/13). Clear gold pour with creamy white head. Aroma of light grassy hops but sufficiently tame to really let the subtle crisp honey malt notes shine through, very elegant balance. Fresh bread crust. Palate is astonishing, so full and well built, not sweet at all, perfectly silky. Crisp and ultra clean. Very very good.

Tap @ brewpub. Gold color. cereal aroma. Hearty grain scent. Perfect. I could session this beer all day. (3812)

draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy straw golden yellow, very creamy white head. Looks perfect. Lovely and intensive aroma of saaz hops. Full-bodied, malty base with just the right sweetness and a touch of fruity yeast, combined with the uncomparable saaz hops this results in a bitter-sweet character. Czech lager in perfection! Brilliant! I love it!

My Bottom Line:
Bready malt notes reveal honeyed depths as spicy Saaz builds a tantalizing, elegant finish.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam lingers atop the misty golden.
-The mouthfeel is rich, yet the finish is almost dry.
-Malt flavors are beautifully extracted.
-Butterscotch angles are found upon warming.

On tap at the brewpub.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2017 Tap @ U tri ruzi. Pours almost clear golden with a white head. Aroma of deep malty nutty alike, herbal, bready - biscuit, dried fruits - mellow. Taste is quite bitter, loads of herbal hops, dried fruits. Very low carbonation. Reminds a lot of a good polotmavy

U Tri Ruzi. One of our favorite restaurants in Prague, and definitely one of the coolest beer restaurants / gastropubs I’ve been to. Beautiful, deep-colored comic art all over the walls in a fun theme intertwining people, nature, and beer. We went to the third floor and were in one of the small rooms with its own little bar. The bartender / server was friendly and joked around with us. First up was the svetly. Super hoppy pils. A bit more grit than Urquell (which is of course my benchmark...and should be everyone’s...it’s the "original" after all!). Yum.

Look; fawnish white head, hazy deep golden body, rosy lacing. Aroma; superb leafy grassy hops swimming in the caramel malt juice. Taste; organic leaves, grassy hops, pale malts n apple peels - and finishes with forward coming hops. Palate; good body, this is a serious svetly. Overall; recommended. Tasted at U Tří Růží of course.

Tap at the source in Prague. Orange hazy bright color, milky foam. Nose: uh! Nutty, a bit biscuity and aggressively floral-Hoppy. Mouth: sweet and round malty, full lager, no flaws, oily feel of Salz. Lovely
