Tap (Tri Ruzi, Prague) as "Tmavy Special" (7:4+:7+:4:14+=3.6+++)
Lovely rich roast aroma, fresh coffee. Very deep red, tight tan head. Rich roasty malt taste. Super mellow palate. Sweet, a bit coffee cakey, but not sticky, and massively drinkable. Great brew. Had 2 :-)

Keg at the brewpub, Prague Day 1 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 29/09/14. Opaque black / ruby red coloured pour with a grey creamy head. Aroma is earthy nutty, caramel malts, little hop maybe some orange. Flavour is composed of sweet nutty malts, mineral, toasted brown bread, little dired fruit in the finish. Palate is sweet , little cloying, sticky, moderate carbonation.

pivnizub (10565) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAY 26, 2012
Tapped: Very dark with some ruby spots, medium-sized lacy off-white head, presumable a bit hazy, dry caramelly-toasty nose , some fruity traces as well; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering roasty and malt-bitter finish with a good dash of coffee-powder. Nový pivovar, dobra kvalita…
