imdownthepub (14777) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2016
Bottled, 500ml at Mémé Dans Les Orties, Strasbourg, France. Dark brown with beige head. There is a dark roasted malty flavour to this, reasonably nutty, roasted hazelnut but then quite a musty note. Some boiled vegetable. It’s okay if a little unexciting.

Nutty brown color, tiny, beige head. A bit cellary, dark caramel, malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramel, a bit bready too, maltyness. No faults, but quite uninteresting "porter".

oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 27, 2015
[email protected] Hazy brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, floral, nutty and mildly ashy notes with some malts to it as well. Flavour is crisp malts, some toasted and ashy notes along with some nutty and wooden notes. A bit strange, but in a good way.

Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2015
Black of color with a beige head. An aroma roasted malt, burnt, charcoal, coffee, leather and weak prunes. A flavor of roasted malt, leather, liqurice, chocolate, raisins and soy sauce.

omhper (25258) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2015
Bottled. Cloudy dark brown, small head. Tobacco and earth up front. Dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Hazelnuts and tobacco. Mid bitter finish.

Hermod (8062) - Vantaa, FINLAND - OCT 2, 2015
50cl bottle. Dark amber, thin brown head. Chocolate, porridge, toasted malt. Flavor has sweetness, roastedness, chocolate, mild coffee notes. Nice.

Calisky (2961) - ALSACE, FRANCE - OCT 22, 2014

erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - OCT 6, 2014
Brown body and minimal foamy head. Burned malts, toast, odd yeast. Simple brown malty body, roasted, very short ending. I like the super roasted malts, quite simple interesting, like almost burned toast, but the body is watery and ending too short. Ugly too. (50cl bottle from La Cave à Bulles)

heavy (2890) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 11, 2012
13/11 A 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured hazy brown body with medium sized brown head of lighter hue. Aroma of coffee and wood. Same in the flavor, which was bittersweet itself, lot of peat as well, just as in its long finish. Medium bodied. Rather simple but efficient smoked porter which has more smoked character than many beers on the site designed as "smoked".
