330ml Bottle from Ueli-Stube restaurant, Basel (5.20 CHF):
A poor lager to be honest, it did come through nicely in areas & had its positives but on the whole it wasn’t a particularly good one really. There was some nice sweetness but that was about it which was disappointing as I expected more given the brewery’s Robur Dunkel offering was quite enjoyable when I tried it prior to this one.

On tap at the brewpub, dark gold with a lingering fine ring, light malty and estery nose, sweetish on the palate, with a touch of green apple and a dry bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. Sweet malt and quinine aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Sweet barley malt flavor with mildly bitter finish (much less than the aroma would make it seem). Decent - nothing special.

Aroma; pale caramel, sweet hay, apple, white bread. Look; pale golden clear body, off white head. Taste; pale caramel, syrup, grains, some liquid bitter of hops - leading to a bitter-corny finish. Feel; slippery when wet. Overall; modest. [33cl.btl.5%abv.BB9/16]
