English: It’s a beer that’s been thought about for quite some time – actually since the brewers first visit to Sherbrooke Liquor in Edmonton, AB, Canada a few years back, and finally I did it – I manned up and did it! After a whole freaking day of brewing coffee for this beer I can truly say it is Craft. If not devoted to the product who in their right mind would brew hundreds of litres of coffee for a beer? The result is a big and bold smooth Porter with discrete vanilla and coffee notes.
Hops: Magnum, Nelson Sauvin Malts: Pilsner, Caramel, Rye, Oats, Chocolate, Black, Vanilla and coffee.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Pitch black, rich creamy beige head. Coffee and vanilla dominates the nose. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Oily espresso, vanilla and resin. Very bitter finish. A bit artificial.

Craft Clerkenwell tasting. Opaque dark brown - black beer. Big pale tan head. Traces of coffee and vanilla amid the semi dry dark malts. Finishes dry with some alcohol warmth. Okay if a bit clunky.

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2012 On tap. Pours black with a small off-white head. Heavy coffee notes up front with a layer of vanilla softening up the mocha and roast. Rich roasty body, again a little heavy on the carbonation, massive and delicious coffee accents again leading to a roasty bitter finish. Well made, and doesn’t REALLY appear 10%. 110512
