COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(33 cl bottle from Fish’n’Beer; BBD: March 26th 2013) Pours a hazy amber with medium, creamy white head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is somewhat disappointingly grassy and cereal with hints of something that smells skunked to me. Definitely not remniscient of the Nelson Sauvin that I’ve come to know and love. Oily texture, full body with medium carbonation and a lingering, bitter finish. Flavour is much better than the aroma. Well balanced and with a slight bitterness in the end that makes you want to taste more.

Chopp @ Lord Nelson. Hazy nice golden colour with a nice big white head. Well lasting. Fresh soft sweet like fruity sweet hoppy aroma with pine and citrus, well balanced. Good mouthfeel indeed. The flavour is fresh, soft and just so good: fruity hoppiness with citrus and pine along with some maltiness and bit spice like too. Bit yeasty. Well lasting pleasant fruity hoppy piney citrus sweet finish. Goood bitterness. Yummmmmmm.

Bottle. Golden, cloudy, average to large and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some tropical fruitinessand light caramel, grapefruit and citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly dryish flavor, light tropical fruitiness and faint caramel, citrus - grassy hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dry, lots of bit soapy/sharp citrus - grassy hoppyness. OK well hopped and dry pale ale - in the finish hoppyness gets bit too soapy.

Draught at Ølfestival 2012, Copenhagen. Deep golden color. Perfumed and petroly aroma with gooseberry. Strong somewhat harsh minerally bitterness in the flavor with lemon and gooseberry. Medium body. The bitterness could be softer.

Bottle 33 cl. Hazy golden beer with an orange glow with a large off-white head of good duration. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops, citrus and exotic fruit. The taste is fresh and dry bitter hops. with clear notes of malt, caramel and citrus. Good bitterness in both taste and aftertaste. Completely in through a nice beer.

Bottle from Vinspecialisten Randers
Cloudy blond color. The aroma is nice, it marries a pungent if not too fruity hop with a sharp bread character. The mouthfeel is dry; any malt flavor is covered by a very strong hopping, resiny and pungent, again not so fruity; the final is very long, strong.
Atypical, breadish, sharp, excellent.

On tap at John Bull, Aalborg. Clear, golden in color, and with a small, off-white head. Peachy and lightly fruity aroma with a malty sweetness in the back. Soft carbonation, a bit sweetish maybe, full-bodied, with lots of citrusy, fruity and peachy flavors. Very low on bitterness I think, but still very pleasant and tasteful. Summer beer. 120624
