Well, here I sit in the pub where I last saw Oliver, slightly welling up, and not necessarily able to focus so much on the beer. But it’s a beer that’s befitting of a person and an occassion that demands respect. The first thing you notice is that it’s quite fresh and lively. Slightly hazy, but a good head, Full of character, and with the kind of bitterness that I really appreciate. No negatives, you enjoy every moment. And even when gone, those good things linger in your head for a long time. A real pleasure to encounter one like this. So I raise a toast to you, Oliver McFadden, it was an honour to have known you. Hmm, the question is now whether I should review this beer...
Aroma: Smelling of peas and newly cut, almost fermented, grass.kbudd19 (1022) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 17, 2013
Appearance: A hazy amber colored beer. A off-white head with small lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet green peas, rubber and bitter white grape-fruit peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a coarse texture. A small body with a very dry finish.
Overall: A bit to green bitterness, I might not be a Nelson Sauvin fan.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2013-01-25.
Pours super muddy looks a little like hogs head that they brew locally. Tastes extra bitter not bad but not great. HenrikSoegaard (14710) - Randers, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2013

Bottle from Supermarket near Holiday Inn, Helsinki. Unclear gold pour with an unremarkable white head. Summer fruit and grassy hop present in the nose. Bittersweet flavour with plenty of Nelson Sauvin on display. Some spice and fruity notes too. Dry bitter finish. Enjoyable stuff and plenty of character for the strength. 130912: Dørkegul beer with fine foam and lovely nelson Sauvin hop aroma. silly to write on the back label in English when it is 100% Danish beer. The beer is a bit thin place, with lots of bitterness, almost no body, but of course backed up by a good hop flavor and aroma. Fine singlehop beer to taste the hops despite it is so bitter. cgarvieuk (26422) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 13, 2012
