COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tap @ John Bull Pub. Hazy holden, small white head. Aroma is very hoppy nelson, but more mineral than usually and not as fruity. Notes of grass, grapefruit, lime, hemp and oranges. Small malty presence. Taste is more genuine Nelson hop with tangerine, Sauvignon Blanc grape notes, lime and green apples. Good bitter palate with only a hint of malt sweetness - dry finish with lingering bitterness. Not too shabby, although disappointing on the nose.

On tap at John Bull, Aalborg. Clear, golden in color, and with a small, off-white head. Peachy and lightly fruity aroma with a malty sweetness in the back. Soft carbonation, a bit sweetish maybe, full-bodied, with lots of citrusy, fruity and peachy flavors. Very low on bitterness I think, but still very pleasant and tasteful. Summer beer. 120624

Body is medium, malty and lightly dryish flavor, light tropical fruitiness and faint caramel, citrus - grassy hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dry, lots of bit soapy/sharp citrus - grassy hoppyness. OK well hopped and dry pale ale - in the finish hoppyness gets bit too soapy.

330 ml bottle @ Øltorget, Mathallen Oslo. Slightly hazy golden body with a small off-white head. Fantastic fruity aroma dominated by Nelson hops, tropical and grapes. Flavor is soft and smooth malty with fruit and quite much bitterness. Medium to thin body, but definitively acceptable at 4,6% ABV. Aftertaste has a sharp grassy bitterness. A fine, refreshing and tasty session pale ale with quite good balance. Think I may pull the lawnmower a few times with this as a reward.
