Pivo Perun je vařeno s použitím metody tzv. studeného chmeleni, kdy je chmel přidavan nejen na varně, ale navíc i za studena v průběhu dalšího výrobního postupu. Pivo tim získává jedinečnou chmelovou vůni a intenzivní lahodnou hořkost.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Almost clear deep golden, mid sized head. Buttery nose with hay and Earl Grey tea. Mid sweet with light body and firm but clean mouthfeel. Intense hay-like hops, salty with tea and butter. Really bitter finish. A really hoppy Czech lager.

Bottle 500 ml at home, into a big Guinness glass. ABV 4.3% Deep golden yellow colour on the body, tall and thick white head siting on top. Crystal clear body of course, with good activity in it. The foam has good retention and it leaves light lacing around the glass. Aroma of sweet toasted malts and light toffee. The taste follows the aroma, very sweet, malty, light toffee, bread. On the aftertaste a mild bitterness with a satisfying duration. Medium thin body, carbonation is okay, towards the lower side. Overall an okay pilsner.
