Draft - Sticky maple and Cinnamon. Jet black with a small beige head. Sticky maple and cinnamon, and odd combination of flavours and it leads to an odd long finish.

Draft @ Brouwcafé de Molen. Pours a very dark brown beer with a big, creamy beige head on top. Aroma of apple pie, cinnamon, lactose and syrup. Has some very vague hints of roasted malts in there in the background. Flavor matches the profile, like drinking an alcoholic apple pie with a sharp boozy aftertaste in there. A bit messy in the aftertaste unfortunately, could have scored better if that wasn’t the case. Carbonation is soft and creamy. Ok imperial stout, positivity points for creativity.

No niby dobre ale dla mnie ciut przegazowane plus zbyt wodnistr. Główny zarzut - brak głębi.

Aroma: nuts, maple syrup, cinnamon. Appearance: deep brown color and creamy head. Taste: cinnamon, maple, roasted dark malts, coffee, nuts, caramel, spicy, semi-dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, spicy finish. Overall: nice IS, cinnamon and maple syrup are playing well with dark malts.

Sample at ACBF 2017. Not normally a fan of this sort of thing, but the cinnamon and maple is subtle and nicely integrated. Comes together nicely.

Tap @ van Moll, 10 cl sample. Dark brown color, short frothy head. Aroma of licorice, roast and a hint of laurel. In taste, the cinnamon adds together with slight sweet maple syrup, and there is much less licorice and laurel, but more sweetness together with roasty bitterness. Very nice.
